Giovanni Bononcini short biography
Giovanni Bononcini, an important Italian composer, was famous all over Europe. Bononcini established himself as a distinguished composer by age 15 with his instrumental compositions. Bononcini worked with a noted Italian librettist Silvio Stampiglia that lead to creation of a number of serenatas, an oratorio and many operas, all of them received with a great success. In 1720, Giovanni Bonocini assumed the position of a composer for the Royal Academy of Music in London. Bononcini also served many members of aristocracy as a composer. Bononcini described his style as 'Baroque simplicity'.
